The Ladbug and the Balloon

Last week I was in Dublin, Ireland for business meetings. As is tradition, after we finish our meetings and dinner, we head out to the hotel bar or pub to grab a drink and relax.



Well, the one night we closed the bar and moved to the lobby and started talking to the people hanging out there. We met a couple named Ben and Melanie who talked with us for a while. At one point, we started talking about Kaitlyn and pictures came out.



Melanie asked if Kaitlyn would like a balloon, so she went out to her car and made this little ladybug (or ladybird in Ireland) for the little Kbug. I kept it in my room, put it in my carry on and brought her home. Kaitlyn has been playing and tugging at the antenna since I got back.



The one benefit of my job is that you meet some pretty fine people in different countries across the world. If you ever had the inkling to go to Ireland, I highly recommend it. The people there are beyond friendly and the Guinness is great!
