Darth Vader, and yes, I am her father!

Everyone that knows me knows I'm unique.

I'm a geek.

So when Christmas comes around, our tree has really strange ornaments. The Starship Enterprise. The Guardian at the Gate of Forever. Darth Vader revealing to Luke that he is indeed, Luke's Father.

(Yes, I hyperlinked all my references for those who are not my equal in uber geekdom.)

So what's the point? Kaitlyn learned that Darth Vader = Dada. Now a father could take this in one of two ways. On one hand, Darth Vader is the epitome of evil and being compared to such a character would be an attack on his self-esteem and parenting skills.

I take it the other way. My daughter is following the path to the dark side and is becoming JUST like me, an uber geek! When I saw this shirt, I had to get it for her. When asked who's on her shirt, Kaitlyn breathes like Darth Vader and proceeds to then say, in her proudest voice, "DADA!"
