What a day! It was by far one of the best birthdays I have ever had. I think this is a new change. I will now looks forward and like my birthdays b/c I get to make it special for Kaitlyn.
This morning I let Kaitlyn take her morning nap at home and then brought her to daycare. Of course she had her birthday bib on to show everyone it was her birthday. I brought ladybug stickers into her friends at school to play with. I went shopping, had lunch, and got my nails done. Afterward, I came home to wrap all of her gifts and prep them for her. Mike met me at daycare and we picked her up early to go down to Point Pleasant. I was close to calling it since it was such a long drive, weather wasn't great, it was late, blah blah blah - But we got down there in less than an hour and really enjoyed it. We stopped at the aquarium first. Kaitlyn wasn't a bit scared of the sharks coming right at her and absolutely LOVED the penguins and laughed like crazy when they came near. We walked a bit and got dinner down there and came back to have cake and open presents with Grandma and Grandpa. She loved pushing her new stroller around for her new baby but kept stealing the baby's binky!!!
