But she is still happy. She is super stuffed up and has this horrible dry cough. The last two nights she has been getting up at 3:00am and coughing like crazy. I have the humidifier on too. Last night, we couldn't get her back to sleep - even after a nose suction, wash rag nose dig, and a binky replace(not that she could breathe well with it in). I ended up having her in bed with me in my arms sitting upright while we both fell asleep. I got to scrunch down a bit but I had her in a death grip so I didn't worry about her rolling off the bed. She slept pretty good but I was a nervous wreck she wasn't breathing well.
She's getting extra TLC from Grandma today with super snuggles. If she is like this tomorrow - no day care for her!
Surely there is something we can do to relieve her comfort. I know no medicine but what about a little Vicks on the chest?
ReplyDeleteHate to see a beautiful girl suffer.
Dad
Please call her doctor and ask for neosynephine drops for her nose. Sue had a cold at 4 months (Easter) and they worked well.
