And...We're back!

Had such a nice time in Bermuda.  Kaitlyn was really good for both flights and slept pretty much through the entire thing.  The flight there we were able to have the row to ourselves!    We ended up only bringing an umbrella stroller for her and used the sling for when she was sleeping.  It worked out really well.

She had a few mishaps where she has some blow out poopy diapers (which has since been fixed by increasing the size of her diaper) and some overly tired screaming fits but overall, she was really good and I'm sooo glad we took her.

Diving on the other hand - not so good.  After gearing up and lugging all of the equipment down to the dive shop, we learned that the conditions were not good and the boat was broken anyway.  The next day, the dive shop drove us across the island to another dive shop.  We got all geared up and ready to go.  The first dive was on a wreck.  I think it was the first time I felt a surge at 45 feet deep.  When we started to ascend, things got crazy.  The waves were unbelievable.  Imagine trying to get onto a boat with a ladder crashing up and down two feet from your head.  I also got EXTREMELY sea sick.  Mike lost it but I managed to keep it in.  We called it immediately and asked to be taken back.  It was horrible.  I felt sick for 2 hours after that.

I posted a lot of the pictures here:
Please let me know if you can't get to them.

A special thank you to George and Kara.  They were brave enough to watch Kaitlyn while having Gaorge Danger with them.  They even ventured out to St. George with the two of them while we dived.  If they hadn't offered to watch her, I wouldn't have been able to bring her and I can't imagine being there without her.

  1. Great pictures.
Nice to be able to see what the island looks like. I'll bet the seas are a lot rougher right now. You probably won't have been able to dive if you had stayed any longer; Ida would have been around by then.
